Rebecca Weeks Harter, PCQI

Hello, My name is Rebecca Weeks Harter, and I am the Principal and Founder of Food Regulatory Partner LLC.  I love the food industry, from start-up to global corporations, from bench to shelf, from food service to retail, and from human to pet food.  For 37 years I have had the joy of leading teams, serving in support roles, and directly contributing to the delivery of well over 2000 new or improved products in the marketplace.

Born and raised in Indiana with much of my extended family involved in agriculture, I attended Purdue University.  An internship in foodservice management led to my diverse career in the food industry where I have become a jack of all trades and a master of many.  My formulation experience made me a better regulatory professional, my regulatory experience made me a better quality professional, my quality experience made me a better commercialization leader, and so on.

I strive to serve with excellence - inspiration coming from family, faith, friends, community involvement, learning something new every day, and even my dogs, Alice and Ella.  My food passion is baking, and I have been a Farmers' Market vendor and have had a catering business.  Like many of you I have supported kids as a scout leader, HS football statistician, a 4-H leader and more.  And I spent 5 years as an Airbnb Superhost with my Smoky Mountains cabin.

With Food Regulatory Partner LLC you will experience active partnership and effective communication as the keys to our successful Client-Consultant relationship.  My priorities are responsiveness and delivering project results that meet or exceed your expectations.  And I am committed to detail and due diligence but work to balance perfection with practical.

I am PCQI Certified through the Food Safety Preventive Controls Alliance and a member of the Institute of Food Technologists and the International Association of Food Protection.  I am also very pleased to offer services of other professionals in the Food Regulatory Partner LLC Network.

In memory and honor of her father, Rebecca will donate 10% of Food Regulatory Partner LLC direct service net revenues to the various organizations including the following:

Opening in 2011, Still Waters Adult Day Center is a ministry of Castleton United Methodist Church on the north side of Indianapolis.  Our mission is “To strengthen, support and provide services for older adults and families throughout their journeys as aging individuals and caregivers.”

The Indiana 4-H Foundation seeks to create and enhance growth and recognition opportunities for Indiana 4‑H youth and their leaders. Ultimately, our goal is to enable Indiana 4‑H youth to develop the hallmarks of successful citizens – responsibility, leadership and integrity.
